The day before Easter Lindsey and Blake were married at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. Last year dad photographed one of his most favorite engagement sessions ever with Lindsey and Blake. They had a friend dress up in a bunny costume and pose in some of their images. It was very quirky and weird and so much fun! Though no one wore a bunny costume to the wedding, Lindsey and Blake did have some bunny figurines as decoration and bunny ears for guests to wear. It was a beautiful spring wedding theme on Easter weekend.
Darla Stafford did a wonderful job with Lindsey that morning for hair and makeup. She was a beautiful bride! Her gown was so pretty with a netting over the bodice. The bridesmaids and groomsmen all wore spring green which, along with pink, were the wedding colors. The couple had Cam Road Films along with sound man Brook Bowman as film makers at the wedding to make their wedding movie. Dad was so jealous of the Super 8 footage they were shooting! The flowers were done by Jayne Giroux of Designs by Yours Truly, Inc and at the reception Nellie’s Deli was the caterer with Publix for the cake. The DJ was Rob Sword from Sword Sounds and he made sure the party was going all night.
Lindsey and Blake had a First Sight so that they were able to do some of their pictures before the ceremony. It was a sweet moment when they first saw each other as bride and groom. Their ceremony was also filled with emotion for the couple and their guests, but after the tears during the vows there were only smiles and laughter the rest of the night! Newlyweds Melissa and Brian were at the wedding too. Dad photographed their wedding just last month and it was great seeing them again.
Dad said that Lindsey and Blake were a fun couple and had a terrific wedding. Their family and friends were all wonderful as well. We wish the couple all the best in their lives together and hope we see them again in the future for newborn pictures of a big bunny holding their baby 🙂 .
Wow that is a crazy gorgeous dress/bride!!! Beautiful pictures 🙂
Love the First Look images! Also digging the kiss shot. Great lighting, skin tones, and super creamy subject isolation. Great stuff Jason!
