A Mother’s Day Present

One of mom’s Mother’s Day presents from dad was a 4D ultrasound so we could all see the new baby.  This morning our family, including our aunts and grandma and pop pop, went for the appointment.  There was a big couch where we all sat while watching the ultrasound pictures on the big screen in front of us.  Our sister was trying to rest and was covering her eyes with her hands for most of the time, but the person kept poking and shaking mom’s belly to get the baby to move (poor thing).  We were able to see her cute little nose and lips and eyes, and her arms and hands and legs and feet all squished and crowded in there.  She made a few faces to show us that she was annoyed with being bothered and we all thought that was cute too.  They also showed us that she already has lots of hair on her head, which is no surprise because both of us boys were born with full heads of hair too.  After the ultrasound we went shopping for the baby.  It was a great morning for us to focus on the excitement of our sister who will be joining our family pretty soon!

Here she is with her hand on her forehead, her other arm across her mouth, and her legs all crowded up near her arm.  It sure looks like she is squished up in there!

Puffing her cheeks out, and poking herself in the corner of her eye with her pinky:

When the women kept shaking mom’s belly to get our sister to move her hand off of her eyes, she responding by moving both arms onto her eyes!  Here is a picture with just her nose and mouth peeking out from where she is covering her face with her arms:

Finally in the last few minutes of the ultrasound she started moving around and we got to see more of her face.  Here are her eyes, nose, and mouth with her arm across part of her mouth and cheek:

Isn’t she cute??!!!

For Mother’s Day presents from us, mom only wants things we make ourselves.  This year she asked for our hand prints so we had fun making her different hand print projects.  Here is her card:

And tiles that we decorated:

She loved all of it and is proud to show her presents off!  She says they are awesome gifts that she is going to keep forever!
