Kate and Wes had a gorgeous engagement session with Jason in the fall and he was happy to see them again on their big day this summer!  The Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort is such an awesome venue, both for the location and for the people who work there.  Kate and Wes came down from Georgia to have their beach wedding there.  Kate got ready with Destiny and Light Hair and Makeup Group.  They are terrific to work with and Kate looked amazing!  The flowers were from Carter’s Florist and matched the bright blue and khaki wedding colors.  The couple included lots of beach theme details.  There were starfish hanging from ceremony chairs and on top of the arch where Kate and Wes exchanged vows.  The cake topper was two adirondack chairs in the sand.  Guests had a basket to leave their shoes in so they could be barefoot in the sand for the ceremony.  It was a great day to be married on the beach!  After the ceremony, the orange light of a pretty sunset shined through the big clouds and made a wonderful background for bride and groom pictures.  Kate and Wes’s seating chart told their guests that it was time to dance as everyone celebrated at the reception!  The DJ was from Expert Productions and the beach themed wedding cake was made by Cakes by Carolynn.

The couple had their honeymoon in Italy!  I am sure that was an amazing trip.  Congratulations to Kate and Wes, and thanks so much for having us as part of your wedding!
