I love the chevron trend that has taken off, and Melissa and Rick did a great job of incorporating it into their wedding day! The details came together beautifully for their wedding at NOVA 535. Melissa looked amazing in her satin Maggie Sottero gown! It was so elegant with the draping, crystal pick ups, and long train. She wore her hair in an updo with loose curls. Jason enjoyed seeing Darla Stafford who did Melissa’s hair and makeup. 2Birds Events did a fabulous job with the bouquets and floral arrangements. Melissa and Rick had Pastor Dan Dempsey at the ceremony to join them together as husband and wife. The reception followed with food by 3C’s Catering, a wedding cake by Emma’s Cakes , and DJ Jaey to get people dancing!
Melissa and Rick’s guests had a blast at the wedding. During cocktail hour, they could play a game of corn hole. Instead of a guest book, family and friends were asked to decorate a piece of slate for the bride and groom to put in a vase. Guests could check out the clothesline of pictures from Melissa and Rick’s relationship. At the end of the night, everyone had fun with sparklers for newlywed’s departure.
It was a gorgeous wedding and Jason had lots of fun with everyone. It was great catching up with an awesome couple whose wedding he photographed 5 years ago too! Thanks so much to Melissa and Rick for including us in your day, and congratulations on your marriage!
