Jason had a great time at Melissa and Sharone’s wedding!  It was a day filled with fun, friends, and lots of love.  The couple was married at Tampa Bay Watch.  Melissa looked amazing!  She had her hair and makeup done by Beauty Brought Out and wore a strapless gown that went from ruched fabric to ruffles.  Her bouquet and the other flowers were from Hayes Florist.  The ceremony was held by the water in front of a unique and pretty pink wooden ladder structure.  The aisle was lined with large, square wooden boards that had famous love quotes painted on them.  Some of my favorites were:

“We loved with a love that was more than love.”  -Edgar Allan Poe

“There is always some madness in love, but there is also always some reason in madness.” -Friedrich Nietzsche

What an awesome idea to decorate the ceremony!  The officiant was a friend of the couple whose wedding and family session Jason also photographed!  It was great for Jason to catch up with Michael, Christa, and their daughter again, and to meet their son!  Of course Michael is also an extremely talented singer and he put together a band to play at the reception as well.

The reception was catered by Puff ‘n Stuff and instead of a wedding cake, the bride and groom had delicious pies from Sea Critters Cafe.  Pictures of Melissa and Sharone were hung next to post cards of meaningful places and this decorated the card table.  Also on that table, guests signed a table runner with marriage advice for the newlyweds.  Though pink was the main wedding color, the reception was also decorated with citrus, including pineapples as bases for the floral centerpieces and oranges under a glass table where the desserts were put out.  There were also origami flowers made from beautiful patterned paper.  Jason brought a couple home for our daughters who loved them!

We were so happy to be part of Melissa and Sharone’s wedding day.  Everything came together wonderfully!  Congratulations to the newlyweds, and we hope your honeymoon in the Big Easy was fantastic!
