At their engagement session, Tristin and Don showed some of the vintage style they were planning for their wedding.  It was wonderful to see all their ideas come to life!  Jason joined the couple for their wedding at NOVA 535.  Their team of vendors included Braun’s Fine Flowers for the floral arrangements and bouquets, Rev. Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies as the officiant, Olympia Catering and Events for dinner, The Chaos Kitchen for the cake, and Bay Kings Band for the reception entertainment.

Tristin wore a vintage Sue Wong gown for the wedding, and then changed into a flapper style dress for the reception.  Both were beautiful!  With the wedding on Valentine’s Day, red was of course the main wedding color and Don changed to a red tie and vest for the reception.  There were red roses used in the bouquet, boutonniere, head table centerpiece, and on the cake.  The outdoor, candlelit ceremony had a long red aisle runner.  The bride and groom stood in front of a backdrop of string lights and white feathers, and the guest tables at the reception also had large white feather centerpieces.  Gold dipped white feathers were personalized with guests’ names and put at each place setting.

During the ceremony, Tristin and Don made the unity candle even more meaningful by including all of their friends and family.  All of the guests were given candles, and after lighting their own candle, Tristin and Don lit the candles of guests, who then light other guests’ candles, so that the light spread to everyone gathered.  It was beautiful to see!

Tristin and Don made the day their own, and their wedding reflected their personalities and style.  Guests had a blast and Jason was happy to be there to capture the fun!  Thanks to Tristin and Don for having us on your wedding team!
