Congratulations to Cassie and Laura!  Jason joined them to celebrate their wedding at the DoubleTree Beach Resort – North Redington Beach.  They are such kind, wonderful people and we loved being part of their big day.

Cassie and Laura wanted some casual pictures before the ceremony so Jason photographed the two of them as well as family and friends on the pier and on the beach.  What a great way to start the day!  After splashing around in the water, everyone got ready for the ceremony.  The amazing Heather from Rose Garden Flowers was the florist for the wedding.  Bright purple flowers were used to decorate the ceremony arch and in the leis that both Cassie and Laura wore.

After the ceremony, Jason photographed family pictures and then sunset pictures with the newlyweds.  The reception had Expert Productions as the DJ and a beach themed wedding cake by Cakes by Carolynn.  

When we asked Cassie and Laura what advice they’d give to other engaged couples, they said that planning a wedding together was a beautiful and sometimes challenging condensed lesson of getting to know and understand each other on a level that day to day life doesn’t provide.  I love that they used the wedding planning process to grow even closer to one another!  Thanks so much to Cassie and Laura for having us as part of that experience as well.  If you end up in New Zealand for a belated honeymoon and need a photographer, we’d be happy to tag along!
