Jenn was a bridesmaid at another wedding that Jason photographed (hi Alissa and Erik!) and we are so happy that we were able to be a part of her wedding day as well! I had a blast emailing with Jenn through her planning and hearing about her amazing ideas for wedding decor (though she did torture me a bit with pictures of New Hampshire scenery! I’m so jealous!) . I knew from seeing some pictures of Jenn and Ryan’s projects that they were putting together a beautiful wedding that reflected the two of them as a couple.
Jenn and Ryan’s wedding was held at The Barn at Winthrop. They had a morning wedding and chose a literary theme for the decor. The seating assignments were done as a library card catalog and the centerpieces were book pages with stacked books on them. Each table was named after one of the couple’s favorite books. Ryan proposed with a Ravenclaw engagement ring and their first official date was at Universal Studios Diagon Alley so the bride and groom’s table was Harry Potter. The wedding cake (from Publix) had a Dr. Who cake topper and the cupcakes had little hearts made from book pages, and the bouquets and boutonnieres also had book page flowers which Jason had fun trying to read. There were so many more meaningful details that made Jenn and Ryan’s wedding day so special for them.
The newlyweds celebrated the beginning of their adventures together in marriage with a Disney cruise! I’m sure it was amazing. Thanks so much to Jenn and Ryan for having us on your wedding team! “We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one.” –The Doctor, Season 5, Episode 13
