When you spend any time with Kristen and Andrew, it is easy to see that they are each other’s best friends. Jason photographed their engagement session in the same location as their wedding, Up the Creek Farms. Kristen and Andrew chose their venue because of the woodsy feel with the oak trees and moss. They had their ceremony under the trees decorated with fabric draping and a crystal chandelier.
Kristen tried on almost 30 dresses before finding the one. She wore a strapless A-line lace Allure gown and Andrew wore a black tux with a silver vest and bow tie. The bridesmaids wore black and the groomsmen matched Andrew’s look but with ties instead of a bow tie. They added in the color pink with flowers and the flower girl’s dress.
The couple had an amazing team of vendors! Kristin got ready with Topknots by Jamie Lynn for hair and Maria Sommers for makeup. The floral arrangements were from Buds Etc Floral Studio and included lots of classic roses and hydrangea. The officiant at the ceremony was Rev. William Kendust from Sensational Ceremonies. At the reception, guests enjoyed food from Green Turtle Market, the caterer for the wedding, and a cake made by Cakes So Simple. Jason especially loved the video game themed cake topper! Rentals were from Crystal & Crates Vintage Rentals and the DJ was from Blue Skies Entertainment.
We loved being a part of Kristen and Andrew’s wedding day and capturing these memories for them! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
