Wedding at Windsong Ranch: Whitney and Jake

Jason had such a great time photographing Michelle and Crystal’s wedding a few years ago, so we were thrilled and honored when Michelle’s daughter chose us to be part of her own special day! Whitney and Jake were lots of fun at their engagement session, and Jason also photographed a session with Whitney as she graduated from nursing school. We were so excited for their wedding!

The bride and groom were married at Windsong Ranch and had a rustic country theme for their day. Destiny and Light helped Whitney get ready with her hair and makeup. Her Essence of Australia gown from CC’s Bridal Boutique was perfect on her, but even more perfect were the cowboy boots she wore with it!

Whitney and Jake had their first look outside at their ceremony site. Rolls of hay, lanterns, wagon wheels, and signs were part of the decor. The reception also had lots of terrific details that fit the theme of the day. A wooden cart was set up for gifts. The dessert table with the wedding cake was on top of wooden barrels. The yummy BBQ dinner from Smoke Showin’ Catering (who also made the cake!) was displayed in wooden holders. All the details came together perfectly!

Jason saw lots of familiar faces at the wedding, and he had a wonderful time catching up with people. Guests played corn hole, danced to music played by the DJ from Grant Hemond & Associates, and took their pictures in our awesome photo booth: www.jathebooth.com.
