Happy 5th birthday to Amy and Lee’s daughter! So much in our world is different right now, but Amy and Lee made sure their little girl felt very special and loved on her big day. It was everything we needed! It was so uplifting to be part of such joy, and Jason loved being able to shoot again (practicing social distancing of course!) We are more than grateful than we can express to Amy, Lee, and their family for all their kindness, and we are sending the biggest Happy Birthday wishes to their daughter!!!
Her “drive-by birthday” started with Matt McAllister Art going to their home to decorate their driveway with a unicorn birthday message. When Jason arrived for pictures, Amy and Lee let their daughter choose where she wanted the family picture. She chose their jungle gym, which I think is probably the most perfect place for a family picture for a 5th birthday party.
Then the Bradenton and Palmetto Police Departments started the parade of cars down the street with family and friends following. Cars were decorated with posters, streamers, and balloons, and people sprayed silly string and threw flower petals at the birthday girl. After opening gifts, the party wound down and she hugged her new giant stuffed unicorn tightly. What a perfect day!
Thank you again to Amy and Lee for having us photograph your family and capture this unique birthday celebration! It is wonderful to be shooting again, and to help capture the family memories happening during these days where the world stays home.
Other than lots of mini sessions, past sessions for Amy and Lee’s family include a session oldest daughter for her 1 year session, their youngest’s newborn and 1 year session, and a beach family session.
