Engagement Session in the Tampa Theatre

Sarah and Erik arranged to have their engagement session inside the Tampa Theatre!  It first opened in 1926 and is named in the National Register of Historic Places.  Many people say it is haunted!  But the appeal of it is that it is considered one of the most lavish “movie palaces” in America.

The session was supposed to start at the Tampa Theatre and then dad was going to go across the bay to photograph Sarah and Erik at the beach.  But the rain started pouring down so for now beach plans had to be put on hold.  Sarah and Erik are getting married in North Carolina (dad was bummed to be booked for their date) and they are thinking of putting their wedding outfits back on for a beach session after their wedding!

Looking through the pictures, mom thought Sarah’s smile was one of those smiles that they say lights up a room.  You can tell that her and Erik are incredibly happy together and have lots of fun together.  Their wedding is going to be a wonderful celebration!

  • A completely indoor session. That is tough, but you did great with the flash. Definitely a sign of how good you are as a photographer. Congrats on the new little tike coming around too! We still gotta get together. Maybe it will have to be a midnight meal or something crazy, since our schedules haven’t lined up.
