Samea and Paulo were married on Saturday at the St. John Greek Orthodox Church. The interior was beautiful, and the couple included many aspects of a traditional Greek ceremony, including the Crowning and the Ceremonial Walk.
I read that another Greek tradition is to roll a baby on the marital bed to encourage fertility. Samea and Paulo didn’t include that, though Jason would have had a blast photographing it if they had! 🙂
After the ceremony, Jason went outside with the couple for pictures. This “paparazzi” picture was cute.
The bride and groom:
The reception was held at Davis Island Garden Club in Tampa.
The groom’s mom was not able to make it to the wedding, but she got to see everything through the webcam that was set up all day. Jason thought that was sweet.
Jason had lots of fun hanging out with some of the kids at the reception and one of them even gave him a note that said he was crazy and cool. He loved it and was showing it off when he got home that night.
Congratulations Samea and Paulo! You are going to have a wonderful marriage and we wish you lots of happiness!
