“Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust; love still stands when all else has fallen.” -1 Corinthians 13: 7-8
Jason was happy to join Ashley and Matt for their wedding in Orlando! The wedding planner was Kristy of Kristy Rapp Events. She does such a great job and Jason always enjoys working with her! The couple chose a beautiful venue. They were married at the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne with the reception in the grand Victorian house there called the Dr. Phillips House. The flowers were from Johnathan’s Flowers and included bright, pretty colors which popped against the brown suits and dresses of the wedding party. The colors were perfect for an autumn wedding! The flower girl looked adorable in her tutu dress which also matched the wedding flowers. The DJ was Orlando’s Got Talent and the food was from Meiner’s Catering. Jason was really impressed by Anna Cakes who made the wedding cake and groom’s cake. How awesome to have a lego cake with a lego bride and groom cake topper! There were legos all around the base of the groom’s cake and Jason was impressed that none of the kids came up and took them to play. If our boys were there, they would have been having a blast playing legos and eating all the lego cake! The main wedding cake also had a personalized cake topper which is such a fun and unique touch.
The wedding had a butterfly theme with little flowers too. The ceremony aisle had branch pomanders with flowers and butterflies on them. Reception tables were named after different types of butterflies. Guests’ table assignments were on butterflies attached to the shrubbery and the guests took those to find their seats. I love the toasting flutes and cake serving set which were brushed platinum and embellished with flowers and sparkly butterflies. Butterflies were on the candle holders used as decoration and there was a cute quote about how Ashley and Matt always wanted to give each other butterflies. It all came together so well!
Guests were treated to an awesome candy buffet at the reception. Jason tried his first chocolate covered gummy bear! All the candy fit into the wedding’s color theme. There were also mini personalized Hershey bars which Jason had fun feeding to a lego dragon. It takes a really fun wedding to be able to say that a lego dragon ate chocolate from the candy buffet! The newlyweds left their reception with a sparkler departure. Congratulations to Ashley and Matt, and enjoy your honeymoon next month!
Wow! Found the spot where I’m getting married! 😉 Gorgeous!
