Jason had a wonderful time with Kara and David as they celebrated their wedding! The details and decor were gorgeous. Kristy Rapp of Kristy Rapp Event Planning and Design always does a fantastic job and Jason was happy to be working with her!
Kara had her hair and makeup done by Rachel of Rachel Artistry. After getting ready, she went to Rollins College for the ceremony which was held in the Knowles Memorial Chapel. The officiant was Rev. Swan of Sensational Ceremonies. Purple was one of the main wedding colors and the purple bouquets that the bridesmaids carried looked great against their black gowns. The bouquets and other flowers were done by Lee Forrest Design.
The ceremony was held at the Taproom at Dubsdread. There were crystals hanging from the ceiling and white lights strung around wood ceiling beams. Purple uplighting matched the color of the day. The centerpieces were silver lanterns with a floral base. My favorite details were chalkboards done by Kim from the Chalk Shop. Kara and David had their seating assignments, gift table, drink menu, and more on chalkboards.
Guests were invited to kick off their shoes and take a pair of flip flops before heading onto the dance floor. The DJ was Darrin of Fun Factory Entertainment. Guests were also treated to a variety of yummy desserts from Peterbrooke Chocolatier like chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered popcorn. Of course, all Jason could talk about was the chocolate covered bacon! The wedding cake was done by The Sugar Suite.
Congratulations to Kara and David on a beautiful wedding, and thank you for having us as part of your day!
